PRY BAR SET:
A Pry Bar, also called a crow bar or crowbar, wrecking bar or jimmy, is a tool consisting of a metal bar with a single curved end and flattened points.
The tool is used as a lever to force apart two objects or to remove nails. Pry bars are commonly used to open nailed wooden crates, remove nails, or pry apart boards.
HEAVY DUTY PRYING:
This set of pry bars are constructed for heavy use and designed to get the job done. Each bar in this set is built to withstand tough lifting, prying and moving jobs. They are built from long lasting durable metals. The slip resistant ergonomic handles provide maximum grip and reduce hand fatigue during extended periods of use.
They can be used as any of the three lever classes but the curved end is usually used as a first-class lever, and the flat end as a second class lever.
The heel bar is a versatile tool that is constructed with a long metal bar, like a pry bar, but with a specially shaped head on one end that gives a high degree of leverage.
HEEL BAR APPLICATIONS:
In the automotive workshop heel bars are used regularly for a variety of heavy levering and locating jobs and are especially useful when working on brake assemblies. The rolling head acts as fulcrum and provides leverage and the pointed end is useful in many aligning applications.
